How to get started

1. Get 5 recipes ~
What types of meals do you like?
I eat with my eyes. So I searched online to find what looked good. I'm a HUGE pasta fan, and I LOVE ranch dressing. So those were my two largest worries going into this. Problem solved! There are raw versions of said loves.

2. Make a grocery list ~
You may need a couple staple items such as: Agave Nectar (use in leui of table sugar), Tahini (ground sesame seeds to thicken up sauces and such), or raw almond butter, or hulled hemp seeds (best cancer fighting seed on earth). Go to Whole Foods for these. Read labels! Walmart has Agave Nectar, but Whole Foods has RAW Agave Nectar.

3. Consider tools ~
A blender will do if you don't want to spend $ on a food processor, but the alternative to a dehydrator is the sun and time. :-/ Walmart has a dehydrator for roughly $40, but it SUCK!  But if you go online you can find some around the $45-$65 to range that have a temperature set on them (that's important). Oh, and if it's just you or you and your spouse trying Raw, a 7 cup food processor is only $30 at Walmart (14 C processor for $50). Just a thought for you.

4. Pick a date to start and go shopping!

5. Be sure to come back and comment and let us know how you're doing, what you've tried and how great you are feeling.
